Biographical
Gus practiced civil litigation for over 30 years with a primary focus on insurance defence work. He appeared in all levels of the Nova Scotia and Ontario court systems, acting for both platintiffs and defendants, with particular expertise in contractual interpretation, including insurance coverage, issues of good/bad faith and labour matters.
Since 2006, Gus has transitioned to fulltime ADR practice, with a proven record of resolving many hundreds of disputes in a wide range of diverse and challenging civil matters. He brings to each arbitration or mediation his extensive experience in the litigation sector, enjoying a high settlement rate.
